Boxing Gloves Size Guide & Chart

Boxing gloves are sized by weight, measured in ounces (oz). The correct glove size depends on your body weight, hand circumference, and training purpose. Heavier gloves (14 oz – 16 oz) offer better protection for sparring. Lighter gloves (10 oz – 12 oz) are ideal for bag and pad work. 8 oz are generally used for competitions. Always wear hand wraps to protect your hands and ensure a snug fit. Gloves should feel secure but not overly tight. The fit may vary slightly between brands.
