Young boxers entering the boxing field are quite enthusiastic and energetic, thinking about all the hype and publicity. When the real initial training starts a newbie faces a tough time, keeping them motivated and stimulating passion into them is very important for their success. At the start of the boxing training young fighters are quite energetic, and it could be hard to control their extreme passion. They are ready to engulf every bit of what you throw at them and absorb it quickly. But it is necessary to maintain this passion for the long term for their success. There are times when these young boxers get irritated by some particular exercise or are unable to convey the importance of a particular workout. When we are aware that others are watching us and have high hopes of us then we are naturally motivated. Keeping this in mind it is important to present appreciation to new boxers for their success. It can be through simple words of appreciation like “well done” or “keep it up”. This would have a great impact on the learner’s confidence and determination to keep going on. Share their success with their family members, peer, and in the gym to validate their achievement.

4. Take Lessons From Your Losses

When you are up for learning something new you are unable to master it unless you have encountered failures or losses. Make these defeats an opportunity to learn from your mistakes. If a boxer sticks to shame and disappointment, due to the failure he would not tend to move forward and achieve further knowledge.
